Pinguine unter Verdacht
Was wie eine Szene aus einem Animationsfilm wirkt, ist tatsächlich geschehen. Diese kleinen Humboldt-Pinguine befanden sich auf dem Weg in ihr neues Zuhause. Es handelt sich um eine seltene Art, die entlang der Küste Südafrikas beheimatet ist, die aus ihrem Lebensraum evakuiert werden mussten, um sie vor Wilderern zu schützen. Dank des Engagements von Naturschützern wurde ein sicherer Transport in eine geschützte Umgebung organisiert, jedoch in einem Passagierflugzeug.
Überraschend dabei war, dass sogar die Pinguine durch die Sicherheitskontrolle mussten, genau wie alle menschlichen Fluggäste. Sie überstanden die Reise gesund und munter, unter Bewachung der Sicherheitsbeamten. Diese Mission zeigt, wie weit Tierschutz gehen kann, um bedrohte Arten zu retten.
