La storia della vita di Mr. T è molto semplice: un povero ragazzo è cresciuto in un quartiere difficile circondato da omicidi e altri crimini ma che non lo hanno fermato dal diventare una star del cinema. Ha anche prestato servizio nell’esercito e ha lavorato come guardia del corpo per Michael Jackson e Muhammad Ali.
Mr. T è diventato famoso come Clubber Lang su Rocky III . Ha continuato a recitare nella serie TV The A-Team e ha avuto alcuni ruoli secondari, ma nulla è stato fruttuoso come il suo ruolo in Rocky III . Da lì in poi, è apparso in spot pubblicitari, ma solo fino a quando gli è stata diagnosticata una grave malattia, ha rallentato la sua vita per prendersi cura della sua salute.
