Anthony Michael Hall – National Lampoon’s Vacation, born in 1968
The Gold Bug from 1980 wasn’t the first acting gig for Anthony Michael Hall since he had previously appeared on stage and in commercials. However, National Lampoon’s Vacation was the movie which enabled him to get real attention from the audience. He went on to play in The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles. Then some alcohol issues forced him to take a break from his acting career. Nowadays, he has slowly been returning to the limelight via TV appearances and low-budget films. The Dead Zone and The Dark Knight were his most recent successes.
