92. Jill Dando – GUNSHOT WOUND
Jill Dando was known for her work as a journalist and television presenter. She mainly worked for the BBC, and in 1997, she was named the BBC Personality of the Year. Her death was quite tragic for she was shot in the head in 1999. At the time, she was working for a program called Crimewatch. Criminal defense lawyers got busy and her case later became the largest criminal investigation, which was dubbed as Operation Oxborough. Her killer was never found but it was established that it had been the work of a professional.
