La película Amigas para siempre (de 1995) estaba repleta de actrices principiantes y jóvenes futuras promesas, entre ellas Christina Ricci, Thora Birch y Gaby Hoffman. Ashleigh Aston Moore, quien interpretó a Chrissy Dewitt, podría haber tenido una carrera tan, si no más, exitosa como la de cualquiera de sus compañeras de reparto. Sin embargo, no vivió que tanto ansiaba y que todos esperábamos, ya que por desgracia falleció en 2007 a causa de pulmonía y bronquitis; tenía solo 26 años. Su último papel fue en la serie Touched by an Angel, algo casi poético.
