Maggie Smith hat eine ziemlich lange und etablierte Schauspielkarriere, so dass wir nicht schockiert sein sollten, dass ihr Vermögen ziemlich groß ist. Im Jahr 2019 wird Smith ihre Rolle als Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham, im lang ersehnten Downton Abbey Film wieder aufnehmen. Sie hat auch eine Rolle in einen anderen kommenden Film namens A Boy Called Christmas.
