Lisa Whelchel wurde ein sehr bekannter Name nach ihrer Rolle in The Facts Of Life, der erfolgreichen 80er Jahre TV-Serie. Neben der Schauspielerei war sie auch in einer Karriere als Musikerin und Autorin erfolgreich. Sie kam aus einer schmerzhaften Scheidung, aber der Grund, weshalb wurde nie bestätigt.
