Ihre letzten Rollen als Schauspielerin waren in Filmen wie The Edifying and Joyous Story of Colinot and Don Juan (Or If Don Juan Were a Woman) zu sehen. Seitdem sie sich von der Schauspielindustrie zurückgezogen hat, ist Bardot eine begeisterte Tierschützerin.
