Eva gab offen zu, dass sie einmal unter Drogenmissbrauch gelitten hat. Sie verlor die Hoffnung nicht und fand das Licht später, indem sie Hilfe vom besten Rehabilitationszentrum suchte. Mendes hat noch kein Schauspiel-Comeback erlebt, weil sie seit ihrem Auftritt in Lost River im Jahr 2014 nicht mehr gespielt hat.
