After completing her training, she managed to escape to West Berlin by crossing the wall in 1989. Today she is known throughout Germany as a weather fairy on the RTL station. Because of a small mistake during a broadcast, she became really famous. With this little slip-up she made television history. She is not only a weather fairy but also a real actress and has already appeared on “Polizeiruf 110” or “Our teacher Dr. Woodpecker”. She married a Canadian named Jean-Patrice Venn 23 years ago.
