Ziggy Marley & Bob Marley
David Nesta Marley, beter bekend als Ziggy Marley, is onmiskenbaar de zoon van Bob Marley, dankzij hun opvallende fysieke gelijkenis. De overeenkomsten tussen vader en zoon – van hun kenmerkende kapsels tot hun liefde voor muziek – lijken een echo te zijn van de nalatenschap van Bob Marley, die helaas zijn potentieel niet volledig kon realiseren door zijn vroegtijdig overlijden.
Ziggy blijft deze nalatenschap voortzetten, en heeft zijn eigen band in het reggae-genre opgericht. Het roept de vraag op: wat als Ziggy een andere richting had ingeslagen, zoals informatica of het bankwezen? Maar zo gauw we zijn talent aanschouwen, dat zo nauw verwant is aan zijn vader’s, zijn we er zeker van dat hij precies op de plek is waar hij hoort te zijn.
