James Michael Tyler – Prostate Cancer
The iconic actor James Michael Tyler was beloved by audiences for his role on the popular sitcom ‘Friends.’ He played the recurring character of Gunther, who made audiences laugh with his funny dialogue delivery and quirky expressions.
Born in 1962, James lost both his parents at a young age, and although he was heartbroken, he worked hard to make himself a respectable life. In 1988, James moved to Los Angeles to work as an assistant film editor and was eventually cast in ‘Friends’ in 1994. He passed away on October 21st, 2021, due to prostate cancer. The devastating news of his demise left his co-stars and fans around the world feeling distraught.
