55. George Gaynes – NATURAL CAUSES
Before he conquered Broadway and the movie screens, Gaynes served in the Royal Dutch Navy. He probably never regretted coming to the USA where he made it as an actor following his iconic roles in the Police Academy films and Tootsie. He also had the opportunity to co-star with his wife, Allyn Ann McLerie on The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. Here, he played the part of a theatrical producer. Hospital visits marked the last years of his life, but it all came to an end when he passed away at 98 due to old age.
