Als Danny sich vor Lexi hinkniete, um ihr einen Heiratsantrag zu machen, fühlte sie sich wie die glücklichste Frau der Welt. Und auch Danny war glücklich, denn für ihn war Lexi die schönste Frau überhaupt und ihr Gewicht war nie ein Hindernis. Sie war seine große Liebe und auch Lexi konnte mit ihm kurzzeitig ihre Sorgen vergessen.
Doch als die Hochzeitsvorbereitungen begannen, wurden die Probleme wieder einmal aufs Neue unübersehbar. Lexi war auf der Suche nach einem passenden Brautkleid, wobei “passend” hier wörtlich genommen werden muss. Mittlerweile brachte sie sage und schreibe 220 Kilo auf die Waage, ein neuer Höchststand, der die Suche nach einem Kleid fast unmöglich machte.
