Beverly Cleary – 102
Different from all the other stars we have discussed so far, Beverly Cleary is not a singer or an actress, but rather a famous American writer. During the 1950s, Beverly wrote children’s fiction books and has now managed to sell over 91 million copies in many different countries, due to them being translated into a variety of different languages. Prior to that, she studied at the University of Washington and then went on to work as a librarian. Beverly, now 102 has amassed a net worth of $20 million and has received rewards for her contribution to children’s reading, including a Newbery Medal.
