During the 1950s, Beverly wrote children’s fiction books and has now managed to sell over 91 million copies in many different countries, due to them being translated into a variety of different languages. Prior to that, she studied at the University of Washington and then went on to work as a librarian. Beverly, now 102 has amassed a net worth of $20 million and has received rewards for her contribution to children’s reading, including a Newbery Medal.
