188. Ron Glass – RESPIRATORY FAILURE
Ron Glass’ career dated back to the ’70s. Apart from his role as Ron Harris, he was also famous for his performance on Firefly and its sequel, Serenity. He realized he wanted to act while he was pursuing higher studies. He was encouraged by a professor and this was what got him to audition for a play. Respiratory failure was reported as the cause of death, and the great actor had already been under medical treatment for the last couple of years of his life, but still, he gave up the battle at 71. Our dear Det. Ron Harris from Barney Miller left us for good in 2016.
