96. Denise Robertson – PANCREATIC CANCER
Denise Robertson passed away in 2016 after losing her battle with pancreatic cancer. Denise was known for her work as a writer and television broadcaster, especially on the show This Morning, where she had been appearing until her death. She would provide advice to viewers during the program, who would send their inquiries by mail. It was estimated that she went over approximately 200,000 letters throughout the show. She had two marriages that both ended up with the death of the husband, so a divorce lawyer was never part of the picture.
