74. Steve Irwin – STINGRAY INJURY
Always up for a new adventure, Steve entertained the audience on National Geographic with his crocodile hunting. He loved the wilderness, the danger, the animals. He made it into the family business and he participated in most of this shows with his wife. They also managed a zoo in Australia that had been created by Irwin’s mom and dad. A stingray barb led to his demise after it punctured his chest during a documentary shoot. He was not even in his mid-40s when it happened in 2006, and no medical treatment could have gotten him back.
