Eddie Murphy – Fat Suit With Water Bladders, Prosthetic Chin & Latex Face Mask
The Nutty Professor is also one of the movies that required a lot of work on the acting crew. Eddy Murphy, in the lead role of Sherman Klump, had to wear a fat suit with attached latex water bladders to make it appear as if he was packing on the pounds for real. The prominent makeup artist Baker had to apply additional chins and rolls on Eddy’s face to match the 300-pound looking fat suit. He made a mask of Murphy’s face that was covered with a latex mold for more believability.
