Diva Mariah Carey likes to look perfect, and she has nurtured her gorgeous looks for years. However, she sacrificed it all for a role in the movie Precious. Not only did she change her hair dye from blonde to darkish brown, but she actually gave up entirely on makeup for the role. Carey herself later revealed that playing in a film with no makeup on was her biggest challenge, but she had to follow the director’s instructions after all. Carey admitted that Push, the original novel title penned by Sapphire, changed her life. That’s why she didn’t mind going bare-faced as long as she could be involved in the film project that brought the book to life.
