Joseph R. Gannascoli – 40 Pounds – Lap-Band Surgery
Actor Joseph R. Gannascoli became famous and rather wealthy from The Sopranos and the status must have allowed him to over-indulge when it comes to food. His weight made him very vulnerable and susceptible to illnesses such as diabetes and heart attacks, neither of which he actually encountered thankfully. He did, however, realize something had to change so he had lap-band surgery and shed a lot of weight. Losing weight isn’t necessarily the hardest part though – keeping it off is. Gannascoli seems to be doing good in that department, though.
