CELEBRITY WEIGHT LOSSES: WHO GOT PHYSICAL AND WHO WENT TO THE DOCTOR?
John Popper – 200 pounds – Gastric Bypass
John Popper is best known as the frontman of Blue Travelers and at one point was incredibly overweight. In fact, his weight gain issues were so bad that he developed potentially fatal health implications. He suffered a near-fatal heart attack as well as struggled with diabetes, both of which were a result of his overindulging. Ultimately his only solution was a gastric bypass which allowed him to lose a staggering 200 pounds. We really hope he can enjoy a healthy diet from this point to ensure he doesn’t pass away in a totally avoidable manner.
