British chef Tom Kerridge clearly has a passion for food – perhaps a little too much. His successful career as a chef earned him two Michelin stars but he also suffered from weight gain up until he was 40 years old. Deciding not to get lap-band surgery and using his extensive knowledge of food for help, he drastically changed his diet and cut out the carbs. Three years of a healthy diet plan and reducing his alcohol intake and he eventually lost 168 pounds. It just goes to show a gastric sleeve surgery can be unnecessary…
