American Horror Story: Asylum star Naomi Grossman let the visual effects team on the set play with her looks as they pleased for the role of Pepper. For Microcephalic Pepper to be portrayed well, the actress did a lot of prosthetics, makeup, and fake teeth, and let us not forget about the large ears she had to put on every day. The preparations take up to three hours every day before Pepper is ready for filming. She never thought that she would reprise the role but in 2018 she appeared in 2 episodes of American Horror Story: Apocalypse.
