CELEBRITY WEIGHT LOSSES: WHO GOT PHYSICAL AND WHO WENT TO THE DOCTOR?

Marie Osmond – 50 Pounds – Diet & Exercise

Singer and actress Marie Osmond was never exactly huge, but by society’s standards, she felt a bit of weight loss was in order. Well, the star decided gastric sleeve surgery wasn’t an option and instead opted for regular exercise and a diet plan. Her dedication not only led to her losing 50 pounds but she managed to keep all of the weight off indefinitely. In fact, the very same company that helped give her nutrition advice is the company she works for as a spokesman today. Osmond proves that organic weight loss is definitely possible with some hard work.

Chris Moyles –  70 pounds – Diet & Exercise

Former BBC Radio 1 presenter Chris Moyles used to carry around a lot of weight up until the point where he resigned from the show. We imagine he was pressured into gastric bypass surgery or some other form of cosmetic surgery to improve his weight, Moyles, however, thought he could just change his lifestyle. He stopped eating bad food and embraced a nutritionally-packed diet plan while regularly exercising and before he knew it, he lost 70 pounds. He looks amazing these days and it’s hard to remember him as the obese radio host.

Delta Burke – 60 Pounds – Diet & Exercise

Actress Delta Burke has long been a figure scrutinized by the tabloids and media outlets. She used to feature in beauty pageants during the ’70s, which led to her becoming obsessed with her weight. This fixation caused eating disorders and severe weight problems. After gaining a lot of weight during the ’90s, and after battling a diagnosis of type-2 diabetes, Burke decided to take action. Through a healthy diet and exercise routine Burke managed to lower her weight (an impressive 60 pounds down) and is doing much better at maintaining it now too.
