Angie Stone – 75 Pounds – Healthy Diet & Exercise
Still a hit in the music industry at 54 years old, Stone first tried to lose weight in 2006 by joining VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club but managed to lose less than 20 pounds. A decade later, the singer-songwriter was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and it motivated her to take action. The fact that diabetes runs in her family, with both her sister and mother having been diabetics, Stone had seen first hand the effects of the disease. She worked hard and successfully lost over 75 pounds, and Stone is healthier than ever before after learning to successfully manage her diabetes and her weight.
