Don Everly & Erin Everly At Age 55 – Model
Don Everly was one-half of The Everly Brothers, who were among the defining acts of country and rock ‘n’ roll music in the 1950s and 1960s. Hailing from Tennessee, the duo captured the hearts and ears of fans, drawing them with beautiful harmonies and vibrant energy.
One of Don’s children, Erin Everly, also became part of music history in another way. Erin grew up to become a model, but in 1986, she ran into Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses, and they became an item. So he decided to merge a poem he had been writing about Erin into what we now know as the classic Sweet Child O’ Mine.
