Jane Powell – 89
After all these years, Jane Powell definitely doesn’t need an introduction. Living in Portland, she first worked as a local singer before moving to LA, where a lucrative deal with MGM awaited for her. After she signed her contract, she appeared in musical films alongside legends of her time, such as Elizabeth Taylor and Fred Astaire. In the ’50s, it was harder for her to land roles which would help her receive some bigger paychecks, so she started appearing in stage plays on Broadway, becoming an equally profitable actress in that field.
