152. Jim Davis – MULTIPLE MYELOMA
Jim Davis had acted for a very long time and his role as the patriarch in the show Dallas was what most people will remember him by. He made his debut starring alongside Bette Davis in the film Winter Meeting. He then continued to participate in numerous westerns and his role on The Parallax View was widely acclaimed. Sadly, the actor developed a medical condition called multiple myeloma. It later stopped him from continuing his acting, and the series’ executives had no other option but to write his character off the show. He passed away due to the complications from the said disease.
