Darryl Hickman – 87
It was in 1939 when Paramount agents noticed Darryl Hickman, who instantly found his spot on The Star Maker’s cast. In fact, Bing Crosby was stunned by his performance, and he wanted him to make history in the acting industry. As Hickman grew up though, he started drifting away from acting, and he later claimed that he needed therapy, expressing his criticism against children working as actors. As an acting coach, Hickman published a book The Unconscious Actor: Out of Control in 2007 about acting techniques. He then worked as a producer and a director and he’s now nearing 90.
