She then became even more prominent in the Hollywood industry when she landed the lead role in The Sound of Music. Over her successful career as a super star actress, she was in many musicals and performed on Broadway. She has also been the voice over artist in films such as Shrek Forever After and Despicable Me. Her work over the years has enabled her to gain $45 million in wealth.
