Alan Alda is yet another actor we’ve discussed who appeared in the series M*A*S*H. He is known for playing the character Captain Hawkeye Pierce. His popularity rose again when he landed a role in The West Wing. His good looks didn’t go a miss either. He then went on to host the TV show Scientific American Frontiers, which he did for an incredible 15 years. Over his career he won 7 Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe, among others. His work on television, as well as his work as a director and a writer, helped him to earn a wealth of $40 million over the years. Now at age 83, he enjoys charity work and appears on screens every now and again.
