Die ehemalige Glee-Sensation Amber Riley war nie schlank oder zierlich, aber sie erkannte an, dass sie es mit dem Abnehmen aufnehmen konnte. Produkte zur Gewichtsabnahme waren jedoch nicht notwendig und auch keine Magenbypass-Operationen. Amber erforschte und nahm eine gesunde Ernährung an und begann auch mit dem Sport. Es ist nicht genau bekannt, wie viel Gewicht sie verloren hat, aber wir wissen, dass sie es geschafft hat, zwei Kleidergrößen zu reduzieren, was im Durchschnitt etwa 20 Pfund entspricht. Im Jahr 2013 wurde sie die afroamerikanische Frau, die den Sieg mit nach Hause nahm, nachdem sie an Dancing with the Stars teilgenommen hatte.
