Nachdem er 2013 als Prädiabetiker diagnostiziert wurde, änderte Alec Baldwin seinen Lebensstil und verlor 60 Pfund bei einer kohlenhydratarmen, zuckerfreien Ernährung. Eine prädiabetische Diagnose im Jahr 2011 war der erste Weckruf, den er erhielt, und er legte das Gelübde ab, bessere Entscheidungen beim Essen zu treffen. Im Jahr 2016 wurde bekannt, dass seine damalige Freundin Hilaria Baldwin eine wichtige Rolle bei der Veränderung seines Lebensstils gespielt hatte.
