Angeblich litt Arnold auch an Schlafapnoe, und 2014 schrieb er einen Essay für TODAY, in dem er seine Gefühle und Gedanken über den Umgang mit der Krankheit sowie seine Reise zur Gewichtsabnahme zum Ausdruck brachte. .
