Kurtis Blow, 60 – Rapper & Minister
Kurtis Walker’s professional name is Kurtis Blow, and he was raised in Harlem, New York. Kurtis was twenty years old when he was signed with Mercury, a major label, as a rapper – and he was the first one to be signed with the label, too. His first release sold more than 500K copies. His career continued, with him releasing more music and even a couple of jobs in acting, but in 2009, Kurtis became an ordained minister. He has since been engaged in performing for The Hip Hop Church, an institute in Harlem. He seems satisfied with the direction that his career has taken! Walker had a net worth of $5 million in 2018.
