Abby Lee Miller seguiu os passos de sua mãe e tornou-se instrutora de dança quando tinha apenas 14 anos de idade. Assumindo a empresa de sua mãe, Miller chamou a atenção da rede Lifetime que a lançou no reality show Dance Moms – essa “febre” diga-se de passagem deve chegar ao Brasil em breve. Miller é agora um dos maiores nomes da dança, apesar de estar acima do peso. Miller assumiu o assunto com suas próprias mãos depois que sua mãe foi hospitalizada e caiu de tamanho 24 para 16.
