Mel Brooks é um homem de muitos talentos. Ele foi um ator de sucesso, diretor, comediante e até mesmo produtor ao longo de sua longa carreira. Brooks tem um filho com sua falecida esposa Anne Bancroft, chamado Max que seguiu os passos do pai na indústria de Hollywood, e dizem que ele tem uma carreira promissora. Ele também é um escritor ávido.
