Jimmy Carter foi o 39º Presidente dos Estados Unidos. Antes de se tornar presidente, Jimmy nasceu e viveu sua infância no estado sulista da Geórgia. Como um jovem que cresceu no Cinturão da Bíblia, ele experimentou uma vida onde a segregação racial era muito proeminente. Por causa disso, ele era apaixonado por seu trabalho como ativista do Movimento dos Direitos Civis. Ele também passou algum tempo servindo na Marinha. Jimmy foi presidente de 1977 a 1981 e, durante seu período no cargo, fez muitas mudanças que o tornaram muito popular entre muitos americanos. Depois de se aposentar da política, Jimmy esteve envolvido em vários trabalhos de caridade e ainda é um ativista dos Direitos Civis. Ele fundou o Carter Center para aumentar a conscientização sobre os direitos humanos. Ele agora desfruta de sua fortuna de US$ 7 milhões
