Gabourey Sidibe – 50 Pfund – Gesunde Ernährung von Obst und Gemüse
Seit ihrer bahnbrechenden Rolle als Precious, für die sie mehrere Preis-Nominierungen erhielt, hat Gabourey nach dem Verlust von 50 Pfund eine dramatische Gewichtsveränderung gezeigt. Abgesehen von der Übernahme gesünderer Ernährungsgewohnheiten entschied sich Sidibe dafür, sich für einen bariatrischen Eingriff unter das Messer zu legen, und wie es scheint, wirkte es für sie wunderbar. Sie zeigte, dass ihr Gewichtsverlust speziell aus gesundheitlichen Gründen erfolgte. Bei ihr wurde Diabetes diagnostiziert, und das diente als Realitätsprüfung, die sie brauchte, um das zusätzliche Gewicht zu reduzieren. Sie hat weiterhin Pfunde abgebaut und die Erfahrung in einem Buch festgehalten, das sie 2017 veröffentlicht hat.
