Im Jahr 2018 wurde berichtet, dass sie weitere 30 Pfund abgenommen hatte, obwohl viele Reporter behaupteten, dass sie sich einem geheimen Magenbypass unterziehen musste, ohne dass Carey dies bestätigte. Im Jahr 2019 ist Mariahs Taille schlanker denn je und sie könnte nicht glücklicher sein mit der blühenden Beziehung, die sie zu ihrem Freund Bryan Tanaka hat.
