Matthew McConaughey – verlor 50 Pfund
Matthew McConaughey bestätigte erst wieder seine großen schauspielerischen Fähigkeiten, als er die Rolle des AIDS-Patienten Woodruff im Dallas Buyers Club übernahm. Der Film wurde in den 1980er Jahren gedreht, einer Zeit, in der HIV-Behandlungsverfahren noch nicht bekannt waren.
