Miller nahm die Dinge selbst in die Hand, nachdem ihre Mutter ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert wurde und von einer Größe 24 auf eine Größe 16 fiel. Miller verbrachte acht Monate hinter Gittern, nachdem er 2016 wegen Betrugs verurteilt worden war. Als sie das Gefängnis verließ, hatte sie noch mehr Gewicht verloren und musste Haut entfernen.
