Franziska Van Almsick – $3.5 Million
Die anmutige olympische Schwimmerin Franziska Van Almsick gewann 1992 mit nur vierzehn Jahren ihre erste olympische Medaille, eine Leistung, die nicht viele nachahmen können. Im folgenden Jahr wurde sie vom Swimming World Magazine zur weiblichen Weltschwimmerin des Jahres gekürt. Bis zu ihrem offiziellen Rücktritt vom Sport im Jahr 2004 war sie an der Spitze ihres Spiels. Ihre letzte Teilnahme vor dem Ziehen der Vorhänge war bei den Olympischen Spielen in Athen. Über ihr Leben ist derzeit nicht viel bekannt, da sie es vorzieht, nicht im Rampenlicht zu stehen.
