Catherine Bell – JAG, geboren 1968
Die amerikanische, britisch-iranische Schauspielerin, Model und auch Produzentin Catherine Bell ist bekannt für ihre Rolle als Oberstleutnant Sarah MacKenzie in der JAG, einer Fernsehserie, die von 2007 bis 2013 ausgestrahlt wurde. Catherine entschied sich, es mit der Schauspielerei zu versuchen und bekam 1990 eine Schauspielrolle in der Sitcom Sugar and Spice. Vor der Aufnahme der Rolle, die sie berühmt machte, erhielt Catherine nur eine dreizeilige Rolle für JAG, die sie dann erneut vorsprach, nachdem CBS die Serie übernommen hatte, und sie bekam die Rolle der Sarah MacKenzie. Sie wurde auch in Army Wives als Denise Sherwood und als Cassandra “Cassie” Nightingale auf Hallmark’s The Good Witch und den Sequenzen gespielt. Catherine wurde 2006 für ihre Rolle in The Triangle für den Saturn Award als beste Nebendarstellerin im Fernsehen nominiert. Wir sehen Catherine jetzt selten im Fernsehen, aber sie ist immer noch aktiv in der Schauspielerei und vor kurzem war sie beim NCIS: Los Angeles für die Rolle der Sarah MacKenzie tätig.
