Rick Astley – Never Gonna Give You Up, geboren 1966
Rick Astleys Ruhm begann mit seiner Single Never Gonna Give You Up, die ein Nummer eins Hit war. Aufgrund seiner Stimmeigenschaften dachten die Leute, er sei Afroamerikaner. Er wechselte zur Soulmusik und zog sich mit 27 Jahren bald vom Singen zurück, nur um mehr Zeit mit seiner Familie zu verbringen. Ist das nicht süß? Glücklicherweise hat er ein Comeback erlebt und ist heutzutage recht aktiv. Er veröffentlichte bereits 2018 ein Album namens Beautiful Life und wurde 2019 bei der Greatest Hits Live Tour von Take That gesehen.
