Elinor Donahue – Father Knows Best, geboren 1937
Die 83-jährige Elinor Donahue ist am bekanntesten für ihre Rolle in der Sitcom aus den 1950er Jahren, Pater Knows Best als Betty Anderson. Ihre Karriere begann 1942, als sie erst 5 Jahre alt war, nachdem sie in einem Tanzchorfilm mitgewirkt hatte. Danach übernahm sie während ihrer Teenagerjahre einige kleine Rollen in mehreren Filmen wie “Liebe ist besser als je zuvor”, “Drei gewagte Töchter” und “Mädchenstadt”. Ihre Karriere begann, als sie in Father Knows Best mitspielte. Elinor entschied sich 2011 nach 69 Jahren Showbusiness in den Ruhestand zu gehen. Ihre letzte Rolle war als Richterin Marie Anderson, eine Gastrolle für The Young and the Restless.
