小さい頃から芸能人になるのが夢でタレント養成所に通いつつデビューを目指していました。1986年にアイドルデビューし、人気ドラマ『毎度おさわがせしますⅢ』に主演、主題歌で歌手デビューとトントン拍子で売れっ子アイドルになりました。現在はハワイアンウクレレバンドや旅番組などで活躍中です。
