1994年に解散したアイドルグループCoCoのメンバー。グループ内ではボケ担当で愛されていました。CoCo解散後は女優の夢を持ちつつ、『進め！電波少年』のアポなしロケなどバラエティで活躍。2012年未婚のまま1児を出産。現在は子供でも読めるようにと芸名を**平仮名表記の「はねだえりか」**とし、タレントの他不動産関係の仕事もしているとのことです。
